David Bundle, Ph.D.
Founder
Dr. Bundle is the Founder of TheraCarb. He was a past Principal Research Officer and head of the Immunobiology Group at the Institute for Biological Science, National Research Council of Canada. Dr. Bundle is well regarded internationally in the field of carbohydrate chemistry as exemplified by his numerous awards, including the R. Lemieux Professorship, McCalla Research Professorship, Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, and the Roy Whistler prize in Carbohydrate Chemistry. He is the first Chairholder of the R.U. Lemieux Chair in Carbohydrate Chemistry.

Glen Armstrong, Ph.D.
Co-founder, Vice President R & D
Dr. Armstrong is the Co-founder and Vice President Research and Development of TheraCarb. He is an industry consultant providing technical expertise for the development of innovative therapeutic treatments of disease.
He was involved with Synsorb Biotechnology Inc. and assisted in writing Phase I and Phase II clinical trials protocols. Additionally, Dr. Armstrong is a named inventor on 38 issued US patents for breakthrough inventions in the treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases.

R. Murray Ratcliffe, Ph.D.
Chief Operating Officer
Murray Ratcliffe is the Chief Operating Officer of TheraCarb. Murray has over 25 years of management experience in the bio-pharmaceutical industry in the United States and Canada, having successfully managed drug development projects from early stage research through to late stage clinical development. He has extensive experience in carbohydrate chemistry, and has directed projects involving peptides, monoclonal antibodies and carbohydrates as drug candidates in the areas of vaccines, anti-infectives and inflammation. Other key roles saw Murray’s leadership in several capacities including, process development and scale-up, facility design and operations, CMC submissions, patent portfolio management, and interaction with regulatory bodies. Murray is the inventor on more than 20 issued US patents and an author of over 25 peer-reviewed publications, books and book chapters.
